Absentee Ballots now available for 2026 Municipal Election

AUBURN, Ala.- Absentee applications and ballots for the Aug. 25 Municipal Election are now available at Auburn City Hall. Eligible voters who are unable to physically visit their polling place on Aug. 25 may cast an absentee ballot in advance. Absentee voting eligibility details can be found online at auburnal.gov/elections/voter-resources/#absentee.
Absentee ballot applications may be obtained from City Hall or from the Secretary of State's website. Applications must be made in writing to the City Manager and either hand delivered by the voter or mailed to:

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Aug. 18 for applications delivered by mail and Aug. 20 for applications delivered in person. The deadline for absentee ballots is Aug. 24 (in-person) or Aug. 25 at Noon (mail-in).
If you are not already registered to vote, you may do so through Aug. 10.
